Kapil Dev And Ajay Sethi To Launch Their Coffee Table Book 'We The Sikhs' In America Through A City Tour

A few months ago India’s former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh unveiled legendary cricketer Kapil Dev  and Dubai-based entrepreneur Ajay Sethi’s coffee table book, We The Sikhs, at Sultanpur Lodhi, in Punjab and now, the deadly duo is taking their brainchild to America, as Sikhs across the world celebrate the 550th birth anniversary of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev Ji.We The Sikhs celebrates Sikhism and features never-seen-before pictures and original paintings of 100 Gurudwaras across the globe. Kapil Dev and Ajay Sethi will be launching their sought after book, which makes every Sikh’s chest swell with pride, in America through a city tour, which will begin from Fresno, California on the eve of the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi today, April 13, 2019.From there, they will move to Fremont on April 14 on Baisakhi and it will be followed by a grand launch in San Diego on April 15. The book will be launched in Phoenix on April 16, in Vancouver on April 18 and later the tour will move to the East Coast, Toronto, New York and then London.

It all started when Kapil Dev visited a Gurudwara in Pakistan and he got so moved by the experience that he decided to bring Gurudwaras from all corners of the world together in one precious publication. The book is divided into three sections- The Gurus, The History and Artifacts and Gurudwaras.
