Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Netflix’s new coming-of-age drama starring Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Adarsh Gourav, is set to hit the digital space soon. The team dropped the brand new trailer for the film at a grand event in Mumbai on Sunday. See it below.
The trailer makes a good point about our digital worlds, where keeping up with appearances on social media sometimes overshadows reality, and how our friends are the anchors that keep us grounded. The film follows three best friends as they navigate life, striving to balance their online identities with their true selves, which also includes digital age issues like friendship, loneliness, love, affairs, betrayal, and finding true happiness outside of social media. It seems like an updated version of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, but can it really match the said film?
Directed by newcomer Arjun Varain Singh, who also co-wrote it with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, the film chronicles the lives of three twenty-something friends, Imaad (Siddhant Chaturvedi), Ahana (Ananya Panday), and Neil (Adarsh Gourav), as they explore the digital world and support one another in their search for authenticity amidst their virtual lives.
Produced by Excel Entertainment’s Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar and Tiger Baby’s Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar, the film is set to be released on Netflix on December 26, 2023.
