Kill, produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, has made India proud on a global level. The film has been hailed by foreign critics and film festivals and has also received huge acclaim in India. Making it bigger, the film is also being remade in Hollywood by John Wick* producers.

Recently, there have been reports about Kill being remade in Indian language as well. However, it's not true. The makers have officially confirmed that the remake rights have not been acquired by anyone in India yet.

The official statement reads:

"Putting the recent speculations surrounding the remake of our film "KILL" to rest - we confirm that only the English language remake rights have been sold. Indian language versions have not been acquired by any parties yet."

Hollywood production house Lionsgate recently announced that 87Eleven Entertainment, the production company behind the billion-dollar Keanu Reeves' universally popular John Wick franchise, will be producing an English-language remake of KILL. The announcement was made by Adam Fogelson, Chair, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group.

Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Kill is produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions, and Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain under Sikhya Entertainment's banner. Kill stars newcomer Lakshya, alongside Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala. The film is currently running in cinemas near you.
