Marathi Actor-Director Kshitij Zarapkar Passes Away Due To Cancer At 54

Kshitij Zarapkar demise: A renowned Marathi actor, director, and writer, Kshitij Zarapkar, took the leave of this mortal world on Sunday, May 5, 2024. We, at Movie Talkies, pray for his soul to rest in peace.

The reason for his death was cancer, and his mortal remains will be kept for the final darshan tomorrow afternoon at his house in Shivaji Park, Dadar. After that, the last will be performed in the Shivaji Park crematorium at 3.30 p.m.

Kshitij Zarapkar was a well-known name in Marathi cinema and on stage. He was recognised for his detailed and nuanced work, be it acting, writing, or direction. He has also written many articles for the Marathi newspaper Saamana.

Kshitij has worked in many Marathi movies and stage dramas over the years. As a director, he made P. L. Deshpande's biopic, "Golaberiz." He was last seen in a Marathi stage play "Charcha Tar Honarch."
