What! Over 5000 Aspiring Actors Auditioned For Kiran Rao's "Laapataa Ladies"

Laapataa Ladies: The teaser for Kiran Rai and Aamir Khan's next, "Laapataa Ladies," has been launched already. The film has been screened at an international film festival and is already garnering appreciation.

We have now learned that the casting process for the film was not that easy. As per reports, over 5,000 aspiring actors auditioned for Laapataa Ladies. The aspiring actors went through multiple rounds of screen tests spanning an arduous two-month period before being selected.Recently, the film was screened at TIFF, and the audience gave a standing ovation to director Kiran Rao. Produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Jio Studios, the film will be released in cinemas on 5th January 2024.
