Legal case against The Great Indian Kapil Show:
The Bongo Bhashi Mahasabha Foundation has issued a legal notice to Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Show for this respecting Rabindranath Tagore. The notice was sent on behalf of Dr. Mondal, represented by legal advisor Nripendra Krishna Roy, and says that The Great Indian Kapil Show allegedly disparages the legacy of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore and offended cultural and religious sentiments of people with their jokes.
Right after this news went viral, the rumors have been circulating about Salman Khan's production house, receiving a legal notice since they have been part of production in the previous season of the show before it went to Netflix. However, the SKF company’s representative wasted no time and issued an official statement denying any links with the show streaming on Netflix.
