Liam Neeson Reveals How Taken franchise Put Off Americans From Travelling To Europe

Liam Neeson famous for the Taken series has revealed  that he had received letters from Americans put off by the thought of traveling to Europe after watching the Taken franchise, which has hostage taking as its core theme.

While promoting Taken 3 which is due for release on 9th January Neeson said: "Just the other day, I got a letter from a schoolteacher in Texas who had tried to take 60 students to Europe, and the families of 40 of them got the kids out of it because they had seen Taken 2. And then this year, she wanted to take 20 of them, and the parents all said, 'No, because we've seen that movie!' "
