Loki Season 2 has been one of the most-awaited series of 2023. The buzz was real, and the numbers have spoken. Loki Season 2 has seen a blockbuster response on Disney+ Hotstar in the opening weekend.
As per Disney, Loki S2 garnered $10.9 million views in the first 3 days. Now this is much bigger than the MCU's previous series, "Secret Invasion," which opened to 994,000 viewers. For Disney, this is the second biggest opening after The Mandalorian season 3, if we consider regular weekends, not extended.Loki's success was expected and very much needed for the MCU's new phase. With Loki S1 being a huge success, Loki 2 is supposed to cross the overall numbers of its predecessor. As we move ahead to Avengers: Secret Wars, the momentum has to be with Marvel.
The second season of Loki debuted on Disney+ on October 5, 2023, and will run for six episodes until November 9, as part of MCU Phase 5. Led by Tom Hiddleston, Loki S2 has an ensemble cast of Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, Ke Huy Quan, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Tara Strong, and Jonathan Majors.
