Ae Watan Mere Watan has been appreciated by the very own family member of Mahatma Gandhi. The film is set in the 1940s and explores Usha Mehta's revolution radio campaign, supported by Mahatma Gandhi and his party members. Now, receiving words of appreciation from their family member certainly makes it bigger.
The great-grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, Tushar Gandhi, who is also an acclaimed author, showered his words of appreciation on Dharmatic's latest blockbuster, Ae Watan Mere Watan. Now, that's simply amazing.
I grew up knowing Ushaben Mehta. She mentored me in my youth. I had heard tales of her exploits running the clandestine Congress Radio during the Quit India Movement. It all came alive as I watched #Ae_Vatan_Mere_Vatan. Thank you @SaraAliKhan you brought Ushaben alive.
