Mahesh Kothare Announces Zapatlela 3; Check Out Poster

Zapatlela 3 officially announced: Zapatlela is an iconic comedy from the 90s, starring legendary Marathi actor Laxmikant Berde in the lead role. The evil doll, Tatya Vinchu, had become a sensation back then. Mahesh Kothare then made a sequel, Zapatlela 2, and has now announced the third film in the franchise, Zapatlela 3.

Zapatlela 3, the third installment in the immensely successful Marathi horror-comedy film franchise, is officially in the works. The makers made the official announcement with a poster today. The film will go on floors by the end of 2024 and will be released in cinemas in 2025.The film will be directed by Mahesh Kothare, who had directed the previous two films of the franchise. His son, Adinath Kothare, who played the lead role in the previous film, will be reprising the same character again. And yes, Tatya Vinchu will be back too.

Director Mahesh Kothare expressed his excitement about the project, stating, "After the two successful franchises, we owe it to our audience to deliver a compelling story. With a good story in place, 'Zapatlela 3' is poised to take viewers on an enthralling journey."
