Mr. and Mrs. Mahi has taken a good start at the box office on Cinema Lovers Day. The film's collections were boosted by the Rs. 99 ticket offer by almost a double margin. The film collected 6.75 crore nett on day one, with multiplex contributing almost 85% of business all over India.
Mr. and Mrs. Mahi had the biggest advance ticket sales for any Bollywood movie in 2024 and was the only film to cross 1.50 lacs and 2 lacs ticket sales. This helped the film score good numbers on day one, which would have ended up with 3-3.50 crore nett on a normal Friday.A lot depends on how the film performs on day two, when ticket rates will see a spike in the amount. The target should be to cross the 5 crore nett mark on Saturday, followed by another jump on Sunday.
