Mukesh Khanna About Kalki 2898 AD

Mukesh Khanna, largely known for his portrayal of Shaktimaan in the 90s TV serial and Bheeshma in the Mahabharat serial, is also known for his controversial and straightforward statements.

Mukesh Khanna believes that Kalki is made for intellectual people who watch Hollywood movies, not the mass belts like Odisha and Bihar.

"The level of intellect with which the film has been made is fine for Hollywood. People are more intelligent than us over there. Forgive me, but audiences in Odisha and Bihar are not going to understand this kind of filmmaking," said Khanna.

His statement is surprising to consider the least because Kalki 2898 AD has done good business in those two states. The sci-fi world wasn't really that difficult to understand, and even if it were, the masses are actually enjoying the Mahabharata episodes in it.
