Munawar Faruqui Caught In A Hookah Bar Raid By Mumbai Police; Read On 

Munawar Faruqui, who is riding high on popularity after winning reality shows Lock Upp and Bigg Boss, found himself in legal trouble last night.

Munawar was caught in a hookah bar by cops last night. Mumbai Police raided a hookah parlour in South Mumbai and booked 14 people, including Munawar Faruqui.

As per the police report, the hookah parlour in Fort was being run illegally. During the raid, they seized cash worth Rs. 4,400 and 9 hookah pots worth around Rs. 13,500.

Munawar and others were detained by the police but were later released on bail, as the charges against them were easily bailable.

A senior police official told PTI, "During the raid, the police found stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui and others smoking hookahs at the joint. We also have a video of their act. We detained Faruqui and others, but they were later allowed to go as the sections slapped against them were bailable."
