A few months ago, Sairat's director, Nagraj Manjule, announced his next flick, Ghar Banduk Biryani. The team has now wrapped up the shooting of this film in Pune and is set to announce its theatrical release date.Directed by Hemant Jungle Avtade, the film features Akash Thosar, Nagraj Manjule, and Sayaji Shinde in lead roles. Ghar Banduk Biryani will be released in 2023 in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. It is produced by Zee Studios, with whom Nagraj has made a hat-trick of superhit movies like Fandri, Sairat, and Naal.Nagraj Manjule said, "I have worked with Zee Studio before, and the experience is unique. Recently, we finished shooting for Ghar Banduk Biryani, and I am a bit emotional. I am playing the role of a policeman in this film. It was fun working with a versatile actor like Sayaji Shinde. I have worked with Akash before, and he is a great actor. The shooting of the film has been completed, and we will announce the release date soon."
