National award-winning Malayalam actress Shobana joins Ramayana

Shobana joins Ramayana cast:

Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash, is one of the biggest upcoming pan-India projects in Indian cinema. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film is currently under production and is likely to release in late 2025 or 2026. There is a big cast in the film, and we have another name coming in and it's none other than Shobana.

Talented Malayalam actress Shobana, who won the National Award for best actress for her stunning performance in the masterpiece "Manichitrathazhu" (1993), has joined the cast of Ramayana. As per a report in Filmfare, the actress is playing a key role in this historical epic drama. The report for the adds that the actress has shot for her portion at Film City in Mumbai. 

It will be interesting to see a proper mix of multiple cinema industry actors coming together for a pan-India project. Shobana's addition makes it even more interesting, and her acting talent will make the film look even stronger. It is still not known which character the actress will portray.

Ramayana has a big ensemble cast, featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita, and KGF star Yash as Ravana. The film is being divided into two parts, so audiences will have to wait a little longer to see the complete film.
