Navra Maza Navsacha 2 emerges as the First HIT of 2024; crosses 20 CR

Navra Maza Navsacha 2 box office: 

Marathi movie Navra Maza Navsacha 2 continues its successful run at the ticket windows. The film completed 4 weeks at the box office and now enters the fifth week from today. The sequel to the 2004 popular comedy Navra Maza Navsacha, also directed by Sachin Pilgaonkar, has emerged as a HIT with earnings of over approx. Rs. 20 crore nett and approx. Rs. 24 crore gross.

The film collected Rs. 11.74 crore nett (Rs. 14.36 crore gross) in the first week and then faced competition in the second week and third week. However, that didn't hurt the film, as it continued to hold well over the second and third weeks and then slowed a bit by the fourth week.

The second week total of the film was over Rs. 7 crore gross, taking the total to Rs. 20 crore gross. By the fourth week, the gross total of the film is close to the Rs. 25 crore mark, while the nett numbers are in the vicinity of Rs. 20.50-21 crore. This has turned out to be the biggest hit of 2024, and the sequel factor has a lot to do with it. This is also the first hit movie from Marathi cinema in 2024. In May 2024, Naach Ga Ghuma did start well but couldn't hold on the weekdays.

Navra Maza Navsacha 2 is directed by Sachin Pilgaonkar, who also wrote the story and screenplay. It stars Sachin Pilgaonkar, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Hemal Ingle, Swapnil Joshi, Ashok Saraf, Nirmiti Sawant, Siddharth Jadhav, and Vaibhav Mangle.
