publive-imageHollywood actor Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's domestic violence trial is making waves all over, and social media is no exception. The fans of Depp are busy trending in support of him, while the actress too has her supporters out there. Johnny Depp took the stand in a Fairfax, Virginia court on Tuesday in his defamation case against Amber Heard.

The actor gave testimony for three long hours and will continue it on Wednesday also. He spoke in detail about Heard's allegations of domestic violence, his history with substance abuse and the early days of their relationship. Explaining the reason for standing in the courtroom, Johnny stated, "My goal is the truth because it killed me that all these people I had met over the years, that these people would think that I was a fraud."

In response to allegations that he hit Amber and left injury marks on her face, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor stated that he never hit her. "Nothing of the kind ever happened. Never did I myself reach the point of striking Ms. Heard in any way nor have I ever struck any woman in my life," he said.

Depp recalled the days when their relationship was formed by saying, "She was attentive, she was loving, she was smart, she was kind, she was funny, she was understanding. We had many things in common".

He also said that for a good year, year and a half, she (Heard) was wonderful. Then things just started to change, or things started to reveal themselves. It was not acceptable and would stir up some unusual reactions from her when he wouldn't go to bed at the same time as Amber Heard.
