Oppenheimer Emerges As A HIT in India; Barbie Sees A 50% Drop On Monday —

Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer has emerged as a HIT in India and is now heading for superhit status. The film was rock steady on Monday with collections of Rs. 7 crore nett, which is better than the previous two Hollywood Hits, Mission Impossible 7 and Fast X (both were midweek releases). Oppenheimer is targeting 100 crore nett in India and ending up as Nolan's biggest grosser as well as Hollywood's biggest grosser in 2023.Below are the collections of Oppenheimer:

Friday - 14.50 crore

Saturday - 17 crore

Sunday - 17 crore

Monday - 7 crore

TOTAL - 55.50 crore nett 67 crore gross

On the other hand, Greta Gerwig's Barbie saw a 50% drop in the collection on Monday. Margot Robbie's comedy earned 2.25 crore nett on its fourth day, taking its total to 19.50 crore nett. It will have a decent run in India but may not emerge as a clean Hit.Below are the collections of Barbie :
