New Update

publive-imageSS Rajamouli's RRR has opened the door for a new argument called "gayism." After several foreign critics and a few Indian celebs, now it's Resul Pookutty, an Oscar-winning sound designer, who called it a "Gay Love Story." Pookutty tweeted it while replying to a writer friend, Munish Bhardwaj's tweet, which led him into a Twitter battle with the producer of Rajamouli's Baahubali, Mr. Shobu Yarlagadda.

Baahubali's producer, Shobu Yarlagadda, slammed Resul for his remarks. He said, "I don't think @RRRMovie is a gay love story as you say but even if it was, is "gay love story" a bad thing? How can you justify using this ? Extremely disappointed that someone of your accomplishments can stoop so low!"

Rasul clarified, "Agree totally. Absolutely nothing wrong even if it was. I merely quote 2 my frnd,d banter that already exists in public domain & nothing else. There is no stooping factor in this.U don’t have 2 take it seriously Shobu,I didn’t mean any offense2 any stake holders.I rest my case here!"publive-imageDirected by SS Rajamouli, RRR stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles. Their Dosti, I mean, friendship bond is shown very strongly in the film which is the base of these arguments. RRR also stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in supporting roles and the film made over 1200 crores at the global box office.
