"FAKE AND BASELESS" - Preity Zinta on Reports of Her Wanting Rohit Sharma in Her IPL Team

Preity Zinta has been the owner of the Punjab Kings franchise in the IPL ever since the inception of the league. Recently, some media portals reported that she is eager to have Mumbai Indians' captain, Rohit Sharma, in her team.

The quote also suggested that she was willing to give everything to get Rohit on her team in the auction. However, the actress confirms that all these reports are fake and baseless. Preity Zinta shared the screenshots of all those fake articles and called them out as FAKE.

#Fakenews ! All these articles are completely fake & baseless. I hold Rohit Sharma in very high regard & am a big fan of his, but I have NEVER DISCUSSED him in any interview nor made this STATEMENT ! I also have a lot of respect for Shikhar Dhawan & he being currently injured , makes these articles appear in very poor taste. These articles are a perfect example of how misinformation is picked up without any verification & circulated online.
