publive-imageWe all know that Akshay Kumar's pet name, Khiladi Kumar, came from his film's title. The actors starred in the film called Khiladi in 1992 and later worked in several other films with the same trademark title. Those films gave him a pet name among his fans, Khiladi Kumar. Now there is a new film released on 11th February 2022 with the same title and it seems to be causing problems.

The producer of the film, Ratan Jain, who believes that Khiladi is his trademark, has chosen a legal way to protect his title. Jain has filed a case against the makers of Ravi Teja starrer Khiladi and has asked them to change the title of their film.

Ratan Jain also believes that using the title with additional words is fine, but using just Khiladi is a clear case of plagiarism. The producer has moved to the court with his plea, and he is furious about the entire thing. He also stated that, South films using our titles will hamper our brand values. But isn't it too late now? Jain answers that he wasn't aware of the Hindi-dubbed release of this film and that's why it got late.
