publive-imageIndian music composer and singer AR Rahman's concert was stopped and abandoned by the local police last night in Pune. The musician-singer was performing at a live concert in Pune, but as the concert started getting into rhythm, he forgot the time restrictions set by the police department.

Smartana Patil, DCP of Zone 2 of Pune Police, confirmed the news to ANI this morning, saying, "Pune Police stopped music maestro AR Rehman from singing during his concert last night after he continued to perform beyond the permissible time of 10 p.m."

"Rehman was singing his last song, and while singing, he did not realise that it was already past 10 p.m., so our police official who was at the venue went and conveyed to him the deadline to be followed as per the SC guidelines; after that, he stopped singing," the officer signed off.
