The first teaser of this pan-India biggie has been getting a good response from fans and netizens. Talking about the numbers, the massy promo has garnered 106 million views in 4 days and has been trending in the top position for quite a while now.
The teaser features the Jaathara sequence from the film, also known as Sammakka Saralamma Jaathara, a festival to honour the Hindu tribal goddesses celebrated in the state of Telangana, India. Each year, more than 10 million devotees visit this 4-day festival. Director Sukumar has recreated this Jaathara in the film, and the teaser is just a glimpse of the grand and nuanced sequence.
Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2 stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Fasil in the lead roles. Pushpa 2: The Rule is slated to release in theatres worldwide on August 15, 2024.
