Rajkumar Hirani has finished 5 scripts for Munna Bhai 3; Read Update—

Rajkumar Hirani about Munna Bhai 3 :

Bollywood filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani debuted in the industry with Munna Bhai MBBS (2003), which has been termed a classic drama over the years. He then made a sequel, another classic, "Lage Raho Munna Bhai" (2006), which went on to become a blockbuster success. It's been 18 years now, and fans are still waiting for Munna Bhai 3.

Hirani has been planning the third part of the Munna Bhai franchise for years now, but there has been no concrete update about the same. However, he recently spoke about the scripting process and revealed that he had finished 5 scripts for Munna Bhai's third film with Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, but nothing reached the finale point.

Speaking about the same, Hirani shared, “I have five half-finished scripts for Munna Bhai 3. I spent 6 months on a script, reaching the interval, and it just wouldn’t go beyond that. There is a Munna Bhai LLB, Munna Bhai Chal Bas, Munna Bhai Chale Amreeka, and more."

"The most important factor is that the next installment has to get better than the previous films. But now, I have a unique idea. Of course, over the course of 100 years of cinema, everything has been said. But yeah, I am working on that idea," said Rajkumar Hirani.
