Bollywood's popular superhero, Krrish, is set to return to the big screen. The first film of the franchise came out in 2003 (Koi Mil Gaya), the second one in 2006 (Krrish), and the third flick was released in 2013 (Krrish 3). It's been almost 10 years since fans have been waiting for the fourth part, and it seems that they'll have to wait longer.
Rakesh Roshan, who directed the last 3 films of the Krrish franchise, has shared an update on Krrish 4. The director said that it might take longer than expected as the team is still working on the script.
Speaking to Mid-day, Rakesh Roshan shared, "Krrish 4 will not begin before the end of next year. We are working on the script, and pre-production will begin only after that. I like to take my time while making a film, and am not in a hurry to complete Krrish 4. Even the earlier instalments were spaced years apart. Such a concept has barely been attempted before in international movies, let alone in India. I have not attempted this kind of a story before where I have no reference point, and hence, it is taking time. There is an emotional core too."
