Ramayana Part Two Update:
Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol, is one of the biggest Indian movies in 2026 and 2027. The team is said to have completed the filming of Ramayana Part One, except for patchwork, and is now set to dive into Part Two of the series.
EXCLUSIVE: "Ramayana Part 1 is finished; Part 2 will be done before the release of Part 1," confirms Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir, who is currently busy with another project, is expected to start Ramayana Part Two in May 2025. He will be joined by the leading actress, Sai Pallavi, in this schedule, confirms a report in Midday. "Ranbir is shooting Love & War now. From next month, the actor may juggle the two projects for a brief time. As there is a visible change in his avatar for the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, the team held a look test to see how he could fit back into the avatar of Lord Ram. They also reviewed his costumes. Since the second part has a darker and more intense narrative, the outfits need to reflect that."

The team has already started working on a crucial sequence set in Ashok Vatika, which will be shot at a lush garden in Lanka where Sita was held captive. "Sai Pallavi, who plays Sita, will film the Ashok Vatika portions in this schedule. Two songs are also lined up for this phase and will be wrapped before the monsoons hit the city," informs an insider.
Kesari Chapter 2: Reel-life Udham Singh, aka Vicky Kaushal, is the surprise element in C. Sankaran Nair's story –
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana Part One is scheduled to be released on Diwali 2026, followed by Ramayana Part Two on Diwali 2027.
