Actor Vikrant Massey, who started his career with television and made his movie debut with Lootera, will be next seen in Konkona Sen Sharma's directorial debut A Death In The Gunj and we have details about Massey's character in the film.

Vikrant, who was last seen playing Arjun Kapoor's friend in Half Girlfriend, will be seen essaying the role of Shyamal Chatterjee, who is affectionately called Shutu by everyone. Shutu, who is quite shy and meek, is often bullied by others and how he reacts to it, forms the central point of the movie.

Starring Om Puri, Tanuja, Vikrant Massey, Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh, Tillotama Shome, Ranvir Shorey and Gulshan Devaiah, A Death In The Gunj, which has already wowed the audiences at several prestigious film festivals like Toronto International Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival and Mumbai Film Festival, is slated to release on June 2.
