Rihanna Gets Sizzling For Dior Campaign

A couple of months is an eternity in the fashion world. In March, when Dior's March announcement that Rihanna will star in their Secret Garden campaign, now seems like aeons ago. But finally the teaser and the images have been released. Uncannily in the same week it has been revealed that Beyonce may be the latest campaign star for Givenchy, and from here on the excitement seems palpable.

Rihanna looks simply stunning and glamorous in the teaser and the first images from the campaign. Wearing red lipstick, matching talons and a veil covered in crystals, leather gloves and a fur dress with a neckline going down to the ribs, Riri is posing in the palace of Versailles.

The singer is captured at night decked out in Dior, making her way through the palace. The soundtrack includes a track provided by Rihanna - "Only If For A Night" from her upcoming album.

Rihanna is not the typical Dior girl - having a far racier image then the house's other ambassadors. She follows in the footsteps of fellow high-wattage Dior stars, such asJennifer Lawrence, Charlize Theron, and Natalie Portman — but the singer's injecting the French fashion house with a heavy dose of her signature badassery.

Here is a woman who loves and wears her fashion at the edgy side of dressed-up, exactly the place where Raf Simons' Dior sits. Rihanna exudes an elegance which seems to be a perfect fit between the celebrity and the brand. We love it. Riri is definitely on a roll.
