Rishab Shetty is right now busy shooting for his forthcoming 'Kantara: Chapter 1', which is a prequel to his pan-India hit film, "Kantara." Bankrolled by Hombale Films, the film is currently being shot in the coastal areas of Karnataka.

Rishab Shetty went out to perform his duty as a citizen of India by casting his vote for Loksabha Elections 2024. Following the voting, he interacted with the media and spoke about Kantara: Chapter 1.

He said, “A big team is working with greater responsibility. Wonderful technicians are working on the project. The shooting is being done part by part. People have loved 'Kantara'.”

Speaking about his look in the prequel, Shetty said, “I have grown my hair and beard for a year for this movie. Secrecy has to be maintained during the shoot. The people should not lose expectation. The film will be shot entirely in the coastal Karnataka region.”
