Ruslaan Box Office: Before the industry could get over the disaster results of the previous two Friday releases (Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Maidaan, Do Aur Do Pyaar, and LSD 2), Ruslaan has arrived to remind us that this dull phase is not over. Rather, it will get even worse.
Ruslaan has seen no crowds at all, be it in multiplexes or single screens. The morning shows got cancelled at many places, while the afternoon shows ran with 5% occupancy. The evening shows didn't see any hope either, leaving the film with a disastrous total on day one.The Aayush Sharma starrer released with no buzz at all, so this dull response is not shocking. However, Ruslaan ended up with approx. 50–55 lacs nett on day one, which is almost half of 1 crore nett, and that's shocking indeed. His last release, Antim (2021), which had Salman Khan's presence, opened with 4.78 crore nett amidst pandemic restrictions, while Love Yatri minted 2.11 crore nett in 2018. Ruslaan may end its lifetime run chasing Antim's opening-day figures.
