SalaarSalaar Part 1 Ceasefire was one of the most-awaited pan-India releases in 2023. Released during the Christmas week, the film faced a big clash in Hindi markets against Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. That did not stop Salaar from becoming a HIT in Hindi, but somewhere the numbers were low and malpractices hurt the standard of business.

Salaar collected approx. 170 crore nett in Hindi, which was only 2 crore less than its domestic market and the biggest market in Nizam and Andhra Pradesh. It's clear that the film underperformed in local markets. However, crossing 150 crore nett in Hindu despite a big clash indicates how it overperformed.publive-imageSalaar did decent business overseas, with gross collections of over $15 million.
