Superstar Salman Khan is set to begin the new schedule of his upcoming film Sikandar next week. The actor will continue the filming amidst the security issues following the demise of his politician friend, Baba Siddique, who was shot in Bandra on Sunday.

After Baba Siddique's death, a report by a media channel confirmed that Lawrence Bishnoi has taken the responsibility of the killing. The same person has been threatening Salman Khan, and so the actor was provided with full protection by the government. Now, he wishes to continue the shooting despite the danger.

“The number of security personnel will be increased, while that of people on set might be reduced. Intensive security measures—like thorough checking of people stepping on the set and securing the venue—will be put into place. Salman doesn’t want the production to be halted," a source told Mid-Day.

Sikandar is directed by AR Murugadoss and stars Salman Khan in the titular role. The extra drama is schedule to be released on Eid 2025.

The government has tightened the security of Salman and has provided a trained constable who will accompany him on every outing. Additionally, a police Jeep will be riding along with Khan, and then he also has 10-15 bouncers and gunmen around him.
