Somy Ali, who was in a relationship with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for eight years from 1991 to 1999, has come forward to express her support for him amidst the house firing incident.

Recently, a couple of Bishnoi Gang members fired shots at Salman's house, Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. The police have made several arrests in the case and are investigating the case thoroughly. Somy Ali, who is usually known for her anti-Salman comments, took a shift in this matter. During a recent conversation with the Hindustan Times, she said that she doesn't want Salman Khan to get hurt.

“I came back to the US at the age of 24 years after my break-up; it's not hidden from anyone. The whole world knows, and I don't want to repeat it again and again. Especially with what's happening to Salman right now, I won't wish upon my enemy what he has been through. All said and done, no one deserves what he went through. My prayers are with him. No matter what has happened, let bygones be bygones. I would never ever wish something like that to happen to anyone, be it Salman, Shah Rukh, or my neighbour," she said.
