Salman Khan as a Swashbuckling cop in Baby John:

Superstar Salman Khan will be seen in a new role of a cop in the upcoming action thriller, "Baby John." The film stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role of a cop and a vigilante and is being directed by Kalees. As confirmed earlier, Salman will make a special appearance in the film as a savior of Varun's character.

Interestingly, the film is scheduled to be released during the Christmas weekend, just around Salman Khan's birthday. It will be a double treat for his fans then! 

According to the latest report in Mid-Day, Salman Khan will be seen playing a swashbuckling cop in the action drama. "Since Salman is known for his action roles and swag, Atlee and Kalees have added some fight sequences featuring the superstar. He will be seen as a swashbuckling cop with some tongue-in-cheek dialogues," a source told the portal. 

Meanwhile, team Baby John members Varun Dhawan, presenter Atlee, producer Murad Khetani, music director S. Thaman, and director Kalees met up yesterday at Atlee's house in Bandra, Mumbai, to discuss the film and Salman Khan's cameo shoot this weekend. Watch our video below.
