Sangeeth Sivan Passes Away

Sangeeth Sivan, a renowned film maker in the Malayalam and Hindi cinema industries, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. We, at Movie Talkies, pray for his soul to rest in peace.

Sivan was 61 and had been going through treatment at a private hospital in Mumbai. During the treatment, he lost the battle against the disease that took him away.

Sangeeth Sivan has garnered huge success for his Malayalam films like Yodha (1992), Gandharvam (1995), Nirnayam (1995), and a few others.

He was quite active in Hindi cinema, with movies like Zor (1998), Kyaa Kool Hai Hum (2005), Apna Sapna Money Money (2006), and a few more. His last directorial work was Bhram (2019), which was released on an OTT platform.

Deeply saddened and shocked to know that Sangeeth Sivan Sir is no more. Am heart broken today, my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones, his wife, kids, brothers. I will miss you Da !!!!! And your infectious laughter!!! Rest in Glory."
