For someone who was initially reluctant to shave off his hair for the role of the menacing villain, Sanjay Dutt now claims that going bald for his role as Kancha in revenge drama Agneepath was the best thing he did because it helped him in his performance.

A few days before the Hrithik Roshan-Priyanka Chopra starrer Agneepath releases, a visibly excited Sanjay Dutt, who had initially planned to achieve the bald look with prosthetics, was quoted to have said, "I think it was the best thing I did because it helped me in my performance. Imagine something stuck on your head (prosthetics) for 10 hours. Everything gets restricted and I can't focus on my performance. However, when I went bald on the first day, I felt very funny."

Dharma Productions venture Agneepath is supposed to be a tribute to the Amitabh Bachchan starrer film of the same name in which the antagonist Kancha Cheena was played by Danny Denzongpa. The same role is now being played by Sanjay Dutt, whose bald look and menacing smile has already impressed everyone in the industry.
