July 2024 Box Office: Akshay Kumar's Sarfira Becomes the LOWEST Bollywood Grosser

July 2024 Box Office: Bollywood did not have any big releases in July 2024, and that's why there were not many expectations from the films. Kill, Sarfira, and Bad Newz were the only three decent releases in July, and except for Sarfira, the other two have turned out to be successful films.

Shockingly or expectedly—any way it fits you, Akshay Kumar's Sarfira has turned out to be the lowest Bollywood grosser of the month. This is really bad for the 90s superstar, but this isn't the first time. We might see a similar trend in the August month as well.

Kill has done a business of over 24 crore nett and is still running in cinemas. Bad Newz is somewhere close to 60 crore nett, whereas Sarfira is lagging behind by a huge margin.

Sarfira took off on a disastrous opening day, followed by a disastrous opening weekend and a super low first week as well. The trend did not change at all in the second week. Moreover, Kill, which had opened lower than Sarfira, has crossed the business of Sarfira at the end of the fourth week. A newcomer's film beating the numbers of an Akshay Kumar starrer is definitely a worrisome thing for him.
