Shahid Kapoor's Deva preponed; Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava fills in –

Deva & Chhaava new release dates:

There are some shifts in the release dates of upcoming movies in the first quarter of 2025. Shahid Kapoor stars in and as Deva, which was scheduled to be released on 14 February 2025 to take advantage of the partial holiday of the Valentine's Day. Now, this cop mystery thriller has been pushed backwards, so fans can enjoy it two weeks earlier than before.

Shahid Kapoor's Deva will now be released on January 31, 2025. The producers have officially announced the new release date. Deva also stars Pooja Hegde and Pavail Gulati and is based on a cop's mysterious case that ends with some shocking revelations.

Since the 14th of February became vacant, we have another Bollywood biggie filling in for the vacant place. Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava, which was earlier scheduled to be released on December 6, 2024, will now be released on February 14, 2025.

Since the film is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the makers wanted to coincide with the date of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti (February 19). The historical epic is directed by Laxman Utekar and also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna. With this, both films will enjoy free run, at least for a week. The next big release after Chhaava will be Ajay Devgn's Raid 2, on February 22, 2025.
