Ranbir Kapoor entered the out-and-out mass action zone with YRF's Shamshera, only to deliver a big dud. Shamshera, also starring Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor, has turned out to be a huge disaster at the box office, with earnings of 40 crore approx in the first week.Below is the day-wise date of Shamshera :
Friday - 10.25 crore
Saturday - 10.50 crore
Sunday - 11.02 crore
Monday - 2.90 crore
Tuesday - 2.55 crore
Wednesday - 2.05 crore
Thursday - 1.55 crore
Total - 40.82 crore nettShamshera has become Ranbir Kapoor's fourth disaster after Saawariya (2009), Bombay Velvet (2015), and Jagga Jasoos (2017). One more thing to note is that Ranbir is yet to score a box office hit with the YRF banner. All three outings of theirs have failed to make good money at the box office.
