Shatrughan Sinha recently made remarks about today's kids not getting parents consent for matters like  weddings. Shatrughan Sinha made these comments shortly after the public announcement of Sonakshi Sinha's marriage to Zaheer Iqbal. Hence, people started speculating that the father of the pride is not really happy with this wedding.

Now, the veteran actor and politician has made some positive comments about his daughter's wedding. He slammed all the speculation surrounding the wedding and said that he would support his daughter.

"Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It's just the life of my only daughter, Sonakshi, whom I'm very proud of and immensely fond of," Shatrughan told the Times Now.

"She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn't I and why won’t I? She has every right to choose her partner. Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live their lives together. They look very nice together," he added.
