Did Shraddha Kapoor Turn Down The Offer To Star Opposite Ranbir Kapoor For Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayan?

Recently there were reports of Deepika Padukone walking out of Luv Ranjan's next with Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn, post which actress Shraddha Kapoor was offered to play the role. But it seems like Shraddha too turned down the offer, as her dates were clashing with Nitesh Tiwari's much anticipated period saga, Ramayan. Ironically there were reports of Deepika playing the character of Sita in this period drama, with Hrithik Roshan and Prabhas in it. But it seems like after Nitesh's successful collaboration in Chhichhore with Shraddha, the director is now keen on working with her once again in his next.

A source close to Shraddha has revealed, that Shraddha was recently approached to star in Luv Ranjan's next opposite Ranbir, for which she was too excited as she has never worked with the duo before, but as she was also offered Ramayan, the actress had to turn out the other project for it being clashing with Ramayan's dates.

This period drama is said to be a trilogy, whose first installment is said to be made on a grand budget of Rs.600 crore and it is expected to roll from 2020.

Shraddha is on a roll with back to back hits like Saaho and Chhichhore. The actress has some interesting line up of films in the coming year, with Street Dancer 3D opposite Varun Dhawan and Baaghi 3 opposite Tiger Shroff.
