After Yodha, Sidharth Malhotra is back to the romantic genre with his upcoming film directed by Tushar Jalota. The leading lady will be Janhvi Kapoor, who is also coming back to the romantic genre after Devara and Ulajh kinds of films. This will be a fresh romantic pair in Bollywood.

A report in Mid-Day shares exciting details about the characters of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. The story may sound similar to "2 States," so here you go! A report in the portal confirmed that Sidharth will be seen as a Delhi boy, while Janhvi will be playing a girl from Kerala, making it a cross-culture affair between North India and South India.

"Janhvi plays a modern artist with strong views and value system. Her character is a south Indian woman from Kerala. The film chronicles how the two fall in love despite having such contrasting personalities,” a source told the portal.

The source further added about the shooting details: "The first schedule will kick off with Sidharth in Delhi. The team will then head for a stint in Kerala, following which the rest will be shot at specially constructed sets at a Mumbai studio. The production design team has been instructed to erect two elaborate sets in Mumbai, one reflecting a sprawling house as seen in Delhi and another reflecting the earthy interiors of traditional Kerala homes. If things go as planned, filming will wrap up by February 2025."
