Indian singer Hariharan's son, Karan Hariharan, is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the upcoming musical romantic drama "Pyaar Hai Toh Hai". Actress Paanie Kashyap will be another debutant who will be seen opposite him. Karan has trained at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles and brings with him a blend of international exposure and cultural richness to his acting craft.
Directed by Pradeep R.K. Chaudhary, the film is about friendship and is set against the picturesque backdrop of Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Backed by Shreetara Cinevision Pvt. Ltd., the production is led by producers Randhir Kumar and Sanjeev Kumar.
"My first experience of being on a set as an actor was when I was 4 years old on a music video. I’ve been obsessed with it ever since," says Karan in response to what got him into acting. He has also explored the stage as a singer, gracing audiences with his melodic talents.
During his younger years, he struggled with weight issues, reaching around 115–120 kilogrammes. But as he grew older, he committed to shedding the excess weight, and the process he took to do so turned out to be deeply introspective. Embracing callisthenics, Karan embarked on a transformative fitness journey under the guidance of his coach, Kirsten Varela.
