The accident took place on November 23 early in the morning when Jalal was enjoying driving with his friends. Jalaj and friends caught up at Goregaon and played games until 3:30 a.m. and then went for a long drive to Bandra in a car. After spending some time in Bandra and getting beverages, they headed back towards Goregaon at around 4 o'clock in the early morning. Somewhere around Vile Parle Highway near Sahara Star hotel, Jalaj's friend, Sahil, who was driving the car, got confused about the turn. In a hurry, he lost control of the car and crashed it into the divider close to the bridge. Sahil and Jimmy were injured, while Sarthak and Jalaj were declared dead by the doctors.

The cops have arrested Sahil and registered a case against him. The other friend, Jimmy, filed a complaint against Sahuk for his careless driving, which caused them a loss of two dear friends. The prayer meet for Jalaj took place today in the presence of close family members and friends.
