That’s what we’ve become click bait, to unseen con artists, thieves, who are a huge threat to our financial security. They are so creative, from the official sounding ones like "Aapki electricity aaj band kar di gayi hai, click on the link to reverse the action" or "Aapka income-tax refund aa gaya hai, link ko click kijiye to validate,” to the simple ones like "You have won 25 lakhs in our recent sweepstakes," or "Click here for easy loans, no paperwork required." It’s so easy to fall prey to these, so let’s be prepared and be extra careful. Do not click on unverified links or shop without verifying the online portals. Be extra careful, and safeguard your hard earned money. Let’s all take the pledge to make Mumbai cyber-safe. I support the #CyberSafeMumbaiProject. I hope you will join me.
