RRR grossed more than Rs. 1200 crore at the worldwide box office in the first phase of its release. Now, the Japanese box office is only adding more to its global total, and the film will have a healthy collection for sure. RRR has now surpassed Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots, which collected JPY 170 million in Japan. The film now stands only behind Muthu and Rajamouli's Bahubali: The Conclusion.
