publive-imageThe Kerala Story was banned in a couple of states in India, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's comments on the same have created quite a stir on the internet. As the actor gears up for his Jogira Sara Ra Ra release today, he decided to hit back at the headlines that caused a stir. The court has already lifted the ban on The Kerala Story, and now the actor has the same opinion: "Stop banning films".

Nawazuddin was asked to react to Anurag Kashyap's comments on the ban on The Kerala Story, and he replied, "I agree with him. But if a film or a novel is hurting someone, then that’s wrong. We don’t make films to hurt the audience or their sentiments."

Nawazuddin Siddiqui had shared, "We make films to foster social harmony and love among people. It’s our responsibility to propagate the same. But if a film has the power to break people's hearts and social harmony, it’s extremely wrong. Humein isse duniya ko jodna hai, todna nahi hai."

But today, the actor slammed the headlines by asking them to stop spreading fake news. Nawazuddin tweeted, "Please stop spreading false news just to get some views and hits, it’s called cheap TRP - I never said and I would never want any film to be banned ever.

STOP BANNING FILMS.
