Sunita Rajwar On Discrimination
Sunita Rajwar is getting popular with her side roles in many films and series. She plays a hilarious neighbour (Bittu ki Mummy) in TVF's Gullak and Kranti Devi in Panchayat. Recently, she opened up about discrimination between lead actors and supporting actors on the sets.
Speaking to Brut, Sunita said, "Lead actors are pampered. Their room will be neat; they will have a fridge and microwave. Whereas others like us, we will have a small, dingy room. They will make 3–4 people sit. The roof is falling down. There is no clean bathroom. Your bedsheet will be dirty. Seeing all this, I always felt so bad."
"When you do small roles, you are not respected, you are not paid well, and you are treated like animals, which is so heartbreaking," she added. The actress had also cancelled her CINTAA card due to this discrimination and humiliating behaviour towards supporting actors.
