Gadar 3: After the humongous success of Gadar (2001) and Gadar 2 (2023), Sunny Deol and Anil Sharma are reportedly working on Gadar 3. There was a hint of the same in Gadar 2's ending, saying, "To be continued..." which confirmed it very much.
When Movie Talkies asked Anil Sharma about G3 at the success press meet of Gadar 2, he had said that we have an idea and are working on it. If we get it right, then we'll make it soon. However, he did not commit any timelines.Now, a report in Dainik Bhaskar confirms that Gadar third part is getting ready for the Independence Day 2025 release. The report also added that the film will be announced in the new year 2024 and will go on the floors in the second half of 2024.
Gadar 2 was released on the Independence Day 2023 weekend and smashed many box office records. It became the highest-grossing film of all time, beating Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan in September 2023. Gadar 2 had an ensemble cast of Sunny Deol, Aneesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, and Manish Wadhwa.
