Suriya and Disha Patani's Kanguva sees a heavy drop on Day 2

Kanguva Day 2 Box Office Collection:

Director Siva and Suriya's ambitious Epic Kanguva took a decent start on Thursday but then went down rapidly on day two. Kanguva Part One collected approx. 21 crore nett on the first day, which was the highest opening day figure for any film by Suriya in India. However, the second-day figures are too low to be considered decent.

The film collected approx. 3.25 crore nett in Hindi markets on Thursday, which was a decent total. The second-day figures went down to 2.5 crore nett, sealing the fate of the film at once. The Telugu version was at 4.5 crore nett on day one, and even that has gone down to almost half.

The home market, i.e., the Tamil version of Kanguva Part One, had a total of Rs. 13 crore nett on Thursday, and that has fallen by an 80% margin on Day two. It's a heavy drop all over as the film minted approx. 8.5 crore nett at the Indian Box Office on Friday, which means the Saturday and Sunday growth won't be coming or will be minor. The two-day total will be approx. 29-30 crore nett.

Siva's Kanguva Part One stars Suriya in the double role of Francis and the titular character, while Disha Patani plays Francis' ex-girlfriend. Bobby Deol portrays an antagonist vs. Kanguva in the 11th century. Made on the budget of Rs. 300 crore, the film doesn't seem to be making any profits at the moment.
